As soon as it moved to its new premises at the CRCT in 2014, the Technology Cluster (TC) initiated a quality approach in order to obtain dual ISO 9001: 2015 and NF X 50-900 certification. Several actions were implemented to achieve this:
- The managers of the TC defined their commitments in a Quality Policy and appointed a Quality Control Manager (QCM),
- The Process map was defined and Process Managers were appointed,
- Standard Operating Procedures were compiled for each Process.
This approach reflects the Cluster’s desire to meet the requirements of its users while maintaining a high level of expertise based on cutting-edge technologies and the know-how and skills of its highly qualified staff.
The Quality Management System concerns “Technological Expertise and R&D in Genomics and Transcriptomics, Proteomics, Vectorology, Cell Imaging, Cytometry and Cell Sorting, Bioinformatics, Antibody Production and the Biological Resource Centre”.
Following an audit conducted by LRQA on 19, 20 and 21 March 2018, the Cluster obtained its dual certification; this is valid for 3 years and will be the subject of follow-up audits in 2019 and 2020.
